Let your favorite artist shine with a birthday party at Ovington Pottery! We host two-hour pottery parties packed with creativity and fun for kids of all ages.
HOW IT WORKS:
Get ready to get your hands dirty! Party guests will sculpt their very own animal pinch pots using fun, easy hand-building techniques like pinching and coiling.
Once the pots are formed, it's time to decorate! Kids will use stamps, textures, and paints to bring their colorful animal creations to life.
After the party, our pottery pros take over—drying, glazing, and firing your child’s pottery pieces in our kiln. In just a few weeks, you’ll come back to pick up fully functional, one-of-a-kind artworks your child and their friends will treasure forever!
AMOUNT OF PARTY GUESTS:
10 people including the guest of honor + 1 or 2 adult figures.
CUPCAKES & DRINKS:
You are welcome to bring cupcakes and a drink for the children to enjoy. Silverware, cups, plates and napkins will be provided.
Optional Wheel Throwing Demo with Keepsake:
We offer an optional 15-minute wheel throwing demo during the party. The birthday child’s friends can help create a 10” cake plate, which they’ll have the opportunity to draw on and carve throughout the event. Afterward, we'll fire the plate, making it a lasting keepsake of the day for an additional $75. Once it’s removed from the kiln, the plate will be fully functional as a serving platter.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
Clay is included in your workshop.
Each participant gets to choose one color to glaze their work with. Each piece will be glazed by staff at a later date.
Each participant is welcome to keep one piece from each workshop. More pieces can be kept for an additional charge.
The minimum age for workshop participants is 8.
